Over the years and as the LinuxServer project has grown we've been using a PayPal account to handle all of our donations. That is no longer really fit for purpose. Therefore, as of today, we are switching to Open Collective.

The nature of the LinuxServer team is global, which meant setting up a charity or other non profit organisation proved an exercise in red tape navigation. By using Open Collective we can ensure the project is sustainable moving forward in an open and honest way. Open Collective handles all the tax and accounting related activities, relieving us of the overhead burden and allowing us to focus on our core services. Furthering our commitment to open source, all our finances will also be open, published publicly.
We will therefore be closing our PayPal account and using Open Collective as our preferred method of donations.
On the Open Collective platform, we will accept donations through PayPal, credit cards and bank transfers. You can do customized single or recurring payments.

It's wonderful to us that our users enjoy our Docker images and support that much they would donate money towards them!
